Cookie Policy
How cookies and similar technologies are used on this website, and the choices you have about them.
1.What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser to remember information between visits, such as a preference you set or whether you have already seen a notice. Some cookies are essential for a site to work, others are optional and used for things like analytics or advertising.
2.How we manage cookies on this site
wpcodeapiblock.com uses a cookie consent tool called Must-Have Cookie to control which cookies and third-party resources are allowed to load. Before you make a choice, the tool restricts non-essential cookies, scripts, iframes, and embedded media, and it only allows them to load once you give consent for the relevant category. Where you have not consented, disallowed cookies and third-party content are blocked at the source rather than simply hidden after the fact.
3.Cookie categories
Our cookie tool organizes cookies into the following categories. The table shows what each category means and whether we currently use it on this site.
| Category | What it covers | Used on this site |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Cookies needed for the site to function, including remembering your cookie preference itself. These load without asking for consent. | Yes |
| Required | Cookies needed for a specific feature to work, such as a payment form or spam protection, where consent is still asked. | Only if a feature needs it |
| Analytics | Cookies that measure how visitors use a site. | No, our analytics are cookieless |
| Marketing | Cookies used for advertising or tracking visitors across other sites. | No |
| Media | Cookies set by embedded content such as a video or audio player. | Only if we embed a third-party video |
| Other services | Cookies from any other third-party integration that does not fit the categories above. | Not currently |
4.The cookie the consent tool itself sets
To remember your cookie choice, the Must-Have Cookie tool sets its own essential cookie, named mhcookie, which stores which categories you accepted or declined. If you accept all cookies, that choice is generally remembered for up to twelve months. If you only accept some categories, we may ask again sooner so your preferences stay current.
5.No analytics or marketing cookies at this time
As explained in our Privacy Policy, our website analytics run through self-hosted, cookieless Plausible and Matomo, so they do not set an analytics cookie and do not need your consent under the Analytics category. We do not run advertising or run any marketing cookies, and we do not have a newsletter that would set a marketing cookie either.
6.Consent based on where you are visiting from
Our cookie tool can apply different rules depending on where you are visiting from. Visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom are asked for opt-in consent before any non-essential cookie loads. Visitors elsewhere may see non-essential cookies load by default, with the option to opt out through the preference center described below.
7.Changing or withdrawing your consent
You can change your cookie choices at any time. Look for the cookie preferences link or icon on the site, which reopens the same preference center you saw on your first visit, letting you turn categories on or off. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser's own settings, though doing so may affect how some site features behave.
8.Consent records
Depending on how our cookie tool is configured, it may keep a record of the consent choices visitors make, which can include the date, a general indication of the device or browser used, and the categories accepted or declined, so that we can demonstrate compliance if asked. Where consent records are kept, they relate to your cookie choice, not to browsing activity on the site.
9.The plugin sets no cookies of its own
The Nahnu Code and API Block plugin runs on your own WordPress site, not ours, and does not set any cookies, does not track your visitors, and has no connection to the cookie tool described on this page. This Cookie Policy covers wpcodeapiblock.com only.
10.Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we add a new integration that uses cookies. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
