Installation & Requirements
Requirements and installation steps for the Nahnu Code and API Block plugin.
Requirements#
- WordPress 6.3 or later
- PHP 7.4 or later
The plugin works on its own. WP Super Docs is only needed if you want your API reference blocks generated automatically from an OpenAPI specification, covered in the OpenAPI section of these docs.
Installing from WordPress.org#
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins, then Add New Plugin.
- Search for Nahnu Code and API Block, or go directly to the plugin’s WordPress.org page.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.
Installing manually#
- Download the plugin zip from its WordPress.org page (Download button in the sidebar).
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins, then Add New Plugin, then Upload Plugin.
- Choose the zip file and click Install Now.
- Click Activate.
After activating#
No setup is required to start using the blocks. Open any page or post in the block editor, add a block, and search for the block types listed in the Introduction. Each one is ready to fill in as soon as the plugin is active.
If you plan to pair the plugin with WP Super Docs, install and activate that plugin as well. See the OpenAPI section for how the two work together.
